SUMMARY- This was a kit that wasn't even on my wishlist because it wasn't in any of the catalogs I had. It was brought to my attention by my friend, Anitra Stone, who is an avid tatter, teacher, mentor, and fellow enthusiast for tracking down obscure tatting publications. This was an unusual tatting kit because of the thread - a 3.5oz skein of Hershner's acrylic 4-ply knitting worsted. Knitting yarn is not a good thread for tatting, so I've got to wonder if the kit failed to survive to catalogs because of it. The kit came with the famous Tatsy shuttle in red, blue or yellow, and enough trimmings and balloons to form the ornaments.
