IRENE WALLERIrene Waller studied textiles at the Birmingham College of Art in the 1950's, became head of the School of Woven Textiles there until 1970, and retired early from that to devote her time to designing and producing murals and a series of widely respected books on the textile arts, which were enjoying a vigorous renaissance in the '70's. |
