SUMMARY- She uses written notation, but breaks down the instructions to an element per line to make them easier to read. You get a big color photo of half the bookmarks on the inside of both front and back covers, then a black-and-white photo of each one for reference with the instructions. Diagrams are included - I don't think you can get much better than that! She loves color and uses it to great advantage. She favors one shuttle with ball patterns and this book is no exception - I think anyone with the basics could use this book and have fun with it. I've been a fan of her newsletter and pattern-of-the-month for several years now - don't know why it took me till now to buy her book but so happy I did. She keeps her free patterns available on-line and runs an on-line supply shop where you can get even more books, threads and equipment.
