SUMMARY- Most of the patterns are for Christmas Ornaments, with a few simple edgings and appliques. All the patterns are in written notation and not broken down - exactly the style of instruction Mrs. Sunderman was accustomed to using from traditional tatting patterns. Black-and-white photos are good enough you can count the stitches yourself if needed, so they can work as a diagram. I have used her Dover ornament book extensively, and while most of the patterns here are simpler, there are several I'm itching to try. I'm glad she is still making her books available!
