SUMMARY- I found this small series of books interesting because they don't give you doily patterns, instead they give you projects that will repurpose old doilies in new and clever projects. They make a point to include tatted doilies, and while they specify a certain type of doily(tatted, pineapple, medallion, butterfly, Irish rose, etc.) for each of the projects, they also stress that any doily of the right diameter can be substituted. This won't actually work in some instances - like converting a tatted doily to a collar. If you were to take the center rows out of a crochet doily, the whole thing is likely to unravel. I've included the other books I'm aware of in the series below...
