SUMMARY- It took a while for a copy of this book in good shape came to my attention that was affordable. They have two black-and-white photos of a sampling of antique tatting shuttles, and another black-and-white photo showing the stark contrast between a tatting and a knotting shuttle, which I appreciated tremendously. It's one thing to be told that knotting shuttles were much larger, but a picture graphically demonstrates it! This book is a great read if you're at all interested in the evolution of our fiber arts tools.
