SUMMARY- This is a lovely booklet from around 1910 - there were 5 digit telephone numbers in the advertising! There is an ad for a gold and jewelry shop whose "gran prix Milano" was in 1906. The book gives an illustrated lesson of the slip-n-slide method, then a collection of patterns that includes 12 edgings/insertions, 3 round medallions, baby bonnet, square doily, and 2 collars. She incorporated crochet into a couple of the designs.

This book was part of a series "Nuovissima Biblioteca di Lavori Femminili"(Brand New Library of Women's Works), Book No. 7. Other books from the series appear to be advertised on the inside of the front cover, and this is the only one for tatting.
