SUMMARY- The tatting and crochet patterns are a 50/50 mix. Two of the tatting patterns are done in rounds, the other three are tiles that could be repurposed to make any cloth. None of the Penelope booklets I've found have a copyright date in them. My best guess from the style of furniture and decor in the sample photos that we're talking late 50's, maybe early 60's.
