SUMMARY- You get some very well illustrated tutorials at the beginning of the book(see Table of Contents). Mrs. Patterson uses symbolic notation AND gives you nice clear diagrams - I don't think you can ask better than that! She uses beads in one of the projects and buttons in another, but my favorite is her "Celtic"-flavored cross "Entwined Arms of the Cross". I love her sense of humor and the wide range of techniques she employs to make her unique designs. I was very pleased to add this one to my collection.
