SUMMARY- There are 12 interesting but fairly simple tatted edgings, and a square medallion in leaf design used as an insert in the edges of a large centerpiece. This is the earliest book I have so far where Ms. Orr gives instruction on doing a split ring - but she doesn't call it a split ring. Instead she refers to it as a "reverse stitch." She gives a picture of what is clearly a split ring.

The rest is filet crochet and embroidery - all lovely designs. The embroidery diagrams are in full color, instead of the symbolic notation I usually see for cross-stitch diagrams. Over-all, I was quite pleased to add this to my slowly growing Anne Orr collection.
