Title: Home Craft: the American Woman's Handibook
Editor: Helen Kaufman
Format/Publication Date: TPB:1920
Publisher: Magazine Circulation Co. Inc.,
Language: English
Page Count: 110
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 13 3/4" x 10 1/8"
ISBN: None
SUMMARY- My cover is badly faded except for the black-inked portions, so you can only read "Home Craft" and see part of the illustration. When I can find a better image, I'll replace it. This book was published by the "Woman's Weekly" Fancy Work Department. This "Life" magazine-sized tome covers everything but the kitchen sink - oops, no, that's on page 78 in their instructions on how to wash dishes. There aren't a lot of tatting or knitting patterns, but a fair number of so-so crochet offerings. If you're looking for a social snapshot of the time period, this is a cool artifact. I wouldn't buy it for the patterns.
