SUMMARY- Emiko Kitao is my favorite Japanese designer. The table of contents is in her native language, so I was unable to provide this. Unfortunately, there is no English translation of Ms. Kitao's books(as of this writing(July 2019). There is the occasional English word thrown in, and the steps are in English numerals - but the patterns themselves are all in Japanese. They are diagrammed, however, and that doesn't need to be translated! An experienced tatter will be able to figure out most of the patterns from the excellent photos and diagrams.
I'm not sure I can emphasize enough what an amazing talent Ms. Kitao has for tatting design.
Patterns(to the best of my ability to describe them): 8 medallion earring sets, 2 tasseled earring sets, 4 bracelets, 1 horseshoe earring set with dangling bead, 3 brooch, necklace and 7 earring sets, 2 medallion for choker and matching earrings.
Ms. Kitao's other work is really worth pursuing if you like small motifs and can read modern diagrams.
