SUMMARY- I have really mixed feelings about some of House of White Birches books. This is one of them. I'm happy they made an effort to make antique patterns available again. I'm unhappy they filed the original serial numbers off, so to speak, and didn't provide information on which designers they were republishing. I know this one is Nellie Ellison's "Corticelli Lessons in Tatting, Book No. 3" - I immediately recognized M. Stoddard's really distinctive monogram.
You get the typical written notation in tiny print and block paragraghs with grainy photos(the very cheap thin paper HWB used for these reprints didn't do the material any favors) for reference. There are some great looking patterns in this booklet.
