SUMMARY- This is one of those books that was completely under the radar for me until a copy popped up on ebay. Her forward was written by the editor of Bead & Button magazine. There were two follow up books planned. I've only found copies of the second book. This book was reprinted in 1996 with a different cover. This is about beading to make faux tatting and not adding beads to tatting. There's an important difference there. Her work is most similar to Nina Libin's - whom I consider the queen of beaded tatting. Their techniques are completely different. Ms. Forrington gives a lot of illustrations to support her careful and thorough instructions. I was pleased to have run across this book for the very different perspective.
