SUMMARY- You get very well broken down visual tutorials of each craft. Some I haven't seen around since the '70's, like the Liquid Plastic and Loopers(of which I got a huge bag that was about the same size and weight I was - boy, were they ever sorry. My grandmother did her best to destroy the potholders I made for her with lots of use and very hot pans(there were scorch marks on all of them), but it was no use. She passed away before they did. My mom's got less use and were equally indestructable. I don't know what happened to the other couple hundred or so I gave away as Christmas presents the next year...). Other crafts have evolved and gotten a lot more sophisticated, like Metal Clay and String Art. If you want a wonderful snapshot of what crafting in the 1960's and 1970's looked like, this book will be a treasure.
