SUMMARY- Crafts exploded in Japan quite a while back, and they borrowed from everybody around the world - USA being no exception. Chuck(a really lovely young woman) caught the quilting bug, and did a ton of American-style quilts that got her a lot of attention. I had no idea this book existed until it showed up in a package of quilting books I picked up on ebay. I had bought the lot for an entirely different rare book that was in it. The book is written in Japanese, with the occasional English word popping out on the pages. She did a traditional mix of pieced and applique, and there are some patterns here - but they are mostly traditional patterns you can get elsewhere. This is a fascinating historical artifact I'm happy to have for the collection, but I don't think you need to scour the internet trying to find a copy for yourself unless you are researching the evolution of quilting in Japan.
