SUMMARY- I admit it was the cover that first drew me, but it was the contents that made me stay. I love this book. It has a great overview of many different types of quilting - the basic traditional(English, Italian, trapunto), and lesser known like shadow quilting and see-through quilting seen more in art quilts. That isn't all! She has a lovely tutorial on developing your own designs, then the least interesting to me were the projects, which didn't all date well but could easily be forward adapted. If you are looking for inspiration in your quilting techniques, this is a lovely place to start.
