Diana McClun and Laura Nownes
They have coauthored eight books together that I'm aware of, a couple of which have been reprinted several times. Mom didn't have any of their books in her collection, but I came across one at my local used book store and it looked interesting. I also found a website for Laura Nownes patterns:
