SUMMARY- This is a really lovely applique quilt with nine(9) blocks, all of which have some amazing detail. If you like intricate applique, this is a great book to have on your shelf. I think the blocks would make really attractive framed pictures in your kitchen as well. Gooseberry pie happens to be my favorite pie, and gooseberries are very hard to come by where I live now. I was surprised and pleased to see them so accurately represented here. Anyone can do a strawberry, but she picked some berries that don't often get full respect. I'll have to keep an eye out for some of her other books. This one really impressed me.
