SUMMARY- Mary Jo Hiney is a quilting goddess. It's true! I don't apply that label to many people. Her use of origami models as appliques in her quilting are genius-level creative and gobsmacking spectacular. I own a lot of origami books(paper is cheap, and I often need something to do with my hands - no candy wrapper is safe from becoming a butterfly around me). I also own a lot of quilting books, thanks to getting my book buying habits from my mother, who was a dedicated quilter. I've sewn a lot, but never got into quilting because my mother had that corner so thoroughly covered(along with everyone in the family's beds). I think mom would have loved this book too. This is full of some lovely projects, but it is also a jumping off point for you to do your own folds. Find a copy of this book. It will inspire you.
