SUMMARY- I happened to run across a copy of this available on www.Paperbackswap.com and had just reviewed another of Ms. Hiney's books so she was fresh on my mind. You get a general tutorial, then more specific tutorials based on the sample letter pattern given - none of the letters repeat the same style, so there is no unified monogram set, say. You do get a wide variety of techniques and useful designs - I'm not sure why they chose the alphabet as their base for their designs. All 26 designs are lovely and very Victorian.
