SUMMARY- There are 70 9" blocks detailed in this book from the time periods shown in the Table of Contents. Even more examples from those time periods are given, so this is a great reference book if you're studying a specific time period for quilting. They show samples of fabrics from that time period as well that were used in the quilts, which I found just as interesting as the quilts themselves. I have a great love of fabric, inherited honestly from a long line of sewers. This may be the most interesting of the BHG books for me in my mother's collection. This book probably originally came shrink-wrapped, because there is a small booklet tipped into it titled "Colorful Quilt Creations: Three Vivid Projects for Quilt Lovers".
