ISAO HONDA
(Feb. 29, 1888 - 1975)
Mr. Honda was one of two collectors during the 1930s and 1940s who thought to preserve children's traditional folded models(the other collector was Florence Sakade). They wrote a series of books for the West on the subject and were very influential in spreading the practice of origami.
