SUMMARY- This is a woodcarving book, not a clay book. Because it shares a lot of characteristics with clay as a 3D medium, I've chosen to combine the two bibliographies. This book has a ton of really charming patterns in it for whittling 10" characters. There is a great little tutorial on carving hands and the patterns would be fairly easy to photocopy out of the book, as he keeps them away from the ditch. There are great photos throughout of the finished piece.
