Title: Bean Bag Buddies: An Adorable Collection of Bean Bag Toys to Make for all the...
Author: Nicki Wheeler
Publication Date: Trade:2000
Publisher: David & Charles
Page Count: 128
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 10 1/2" x 8"
ISBN: 0715309927
PATTERN RATING: . The patterns are all full-size, have seam allowances marked on them, and have dot markings to help the sewer. The toys are quite cute, and remind me a lot of the very popular beanie babies.
INSTRUCTION RATING:. You get step by step instructions with a few illustrations to help guide you. The toys aren't extremely complex, but having to jump around in the book in order to follow step 2 of another toy's directions could get annoying.
BONUS MECHANICS RATING:. There are definite design differences between beanie toys and firmer stuffed toys. This book does a fine job of giving you basic patterns you could riff off of to experiment on your own. Over-all this was a useful book to acquire.
