. Patterns have to be enlarged, but do have seam allowances marked, and some markings to guide the sewer. The patterns are very simple two piece, for the most part, and those few that aren't are still very simple in detail. Despite this, a lot of the toys are pretty engaging.
INSTRUCTION RATING:. Instructions are 1-2-3 step with some illustration. She usually saves her heavy illustrating for a specific technique, rather than a specific toy.
BONUS MECHANICS RATING:
. Has a couple pages on working with big chunks of foam and making faces with needle sculpting nylon. 80 worthwhile pages.
