PATTERN RATING: You get one(1) teddy bear pattern in this book, with the choice of a small or large ear. Patterns are marked with seam allowances and grainlines, plus the old A-B-C method of marking.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Written instructions are not broken down very well, but later in the chapter you get a blow-by-blow pictorial rundown that makes up for it. No "A's" for organization, but they are thorough.
BONUS MECHANICS RATING: You get a chapter on designing your own pattern which gives some good advice.
SUMMARY- If you're just looking for a variety of teddy bear patterns, this isn't for you. If you're looking to design your own, you may wish to go find a copy of this book. It gives some good advice.
