Title: Teddy Bear Art: How to Design and Make Great Teddy Bears
Author: Jennifer Laing
Publication Date: Trade:1993
Publisher: Hobby House Press, Grantsville, MD
Page Count: 96
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISBN: 0875885179
PATTERN RATING: . Patterns are full-sized, and include instructions on how to enlarge even further in order to make a wide range of sizes. There are only three patterns, each quite different from the other. The bears look very sweet and cuddly.
INSTRUCTION RATING: . Instructions are clear, but don't have as much illustration as a neophyte may need. An experienced toy maker probably won't have any trouble.
BONUS MECHANICS RATING: . She goes into a whole lot more detail in this book on how to design your own teddy bears. Her first chapter goes into great detail and would be really helpful to anyone thinking about launching themselves into designing bears.
