Title: Make Your Own Teddy Bears: Instructions and Full-size Patterns for Jointed and Unjointed Bears and their Clothing
Author: Doris King
Publication Date: TPB:1986
Publisher: Dover Publications Inc., Mineola, NY
Page Count: 80
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 11" x 8 1/2"
ISBN: 0486249425
PATTERN RATING: You get two bear patterns - one jointed and one unjointed. Then you get a slew of clothing patterns that fit them. They manage to get a lot of differnt looks to their bears just from materials choices, and the clothes patterns are fantastic. They are full-size, very easy to photocopy out of the book, and extremely well marked.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are broken down into steps but don't have a lot of illustration to support them, so you better know what you're doing before tackling this book.
SUMMARY- This is a really solid book with potential for an endless variety of different-looking bears as gifts or to expand your own collection, with only the two patterns needed.
