PATTERN RATING: Patterns are well marked and full-size. You may have problems photocopying a good copy because of the binding(you'll have to break the spine to get the book to lie flat). You get a nice assortment of different bears - not just resizing of the same pattern.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions aren't broken down very well, but they are very detailed. And you get some photos and line illustrations to back them up.
SUMMARY- This was one of a dozen books donated by Paul Thompson of Illinois in the name of his wife Marilyn, who passed away last year after 40 years of marriage. She was an avid teddy bear fan and made custom bears for many people. She also had a large teddy bear pattern book library. (Thank you, Paul, for your generosity)
When I went to log this one, I saw the very similar title to the softcover I have of the next year, and thought "ah oh", but this isn't the hardcover version of that book - they've got different bears! So despite the very similar titles, you do get two different books. Two Excellent books. :)
