SUMMARY- John Axe was a very experienced researcher with a lot of articles under his belt, so I can easily see why he was picked to write this - and as always, he did a superb job documenting the history and products of Merrythought Toys, located in Shropshire, England. This book gives a great section on the history of the company from when it began in 1930 to a preview of the 1986 line-up of new toys.
