SUMMARY- There are two sock puppet books that really stand out for me - this is one of them. (The other is Marty Allen's "Sock Puppet Madness"). They encourage learning to sew in order to do the applique work, but gluing is fine as a substitute. They've got clever to spare, and share a lot of useful techniques. Their finished puppets are professional looking and there's a great variety to choose from. I love this book.
