SUMMARY- This is an amazing book, with tons of information about different types of dolls and lots of wonderful photos, both color and black-and-white. I was particularly interested in the section on the Izannah Walker dolls personally. He does a wonderful job of describing the dolls presented and a bit about the time period in which they were created, with some background on the makers where he was able. This was a fun and very informative read, with a plea at the end not to destroy the true value of the antique dolls by attempting to restore them.
