Title: Make Your Own Rag Doll: A Step-by-Step Guide
Author: Alicia Merrett
Publication Date: TPB:1995
Publisher: Running Press, Philadelphia
Page Count: 48
Book Dimensions(ht. x w.): 8 3/4" x 7"
ISBN: 1561386189
PATTERN RATING: Pattern pieces are pretty well marked(though missing the grainline). You get the basic rag doll pattern and her clothing as shown on the cover, along with a few accessories not shown. Pattern pieces are full-size and would be easy to photocopy out of the booklet.
INSTRUCTION RATING: Instructions are very well broken down and come heavily illustrated to help the sewer - I'd happily recommend this book to a novice.
SUMMARY- This booklet concentrates on making one rag doll, and does it extremely well. I recommend this book for anyone trying their hand at ragdoll making for the first time.
