SUMMARY- You get a wonderful variety of patterns here. I haven't knitted since my teens, where I learned the basics, was given a cool houseslipper pattern that you could make really puffy slippers from that made you feel like you were walking on clouds, and went nuts that year making enough for all my family with what yarn I could beg, borrow and steal from mom's stash. It was great fun and I loved those slippers, so I don't know why I didn't continue from there - I think it was because I got distracted by macrame and then tatting. I'm a serial crafter - have never been able to stick to just one, and have the UFOs to prove it. I was delighted with this book and its variety. This was my long way of telling you I have no idea if the instructions are accurate, but I can tell you they are well broken down and look easy to follow.
