SUMMARY- The first half of this book is extensive tutorials with lots of photographs and excellent focus on details. The lesson covers the basics, but it also gets into advanced techniques that will interest the more experienced tatters. The book is in Korean, with the occasional English word thrown in. She diagrams all her patterns, so if you're just looking for patterns, this is still an interesting find. She starts with simple edgings/insertions, goes into conneting medallions to make mats, and then a series of doilies(round, square, heart) then a set of 16 motifs, and the ball you see on the cover. She's used the balls and the set of motifs to make a mobile. The patterns stick to traditional tatting and are well executed. If foreign languages don't throw you, I would recommend this designer.
