SUMMARY- Originally self published, this book has finally made it over the big pond to the USA, thanks to Handy Hands, Inc. May they bring all the rest of Ms. Weidmann's fantastic books over as well. I have loved her farm animals and angel books for a long time, and have wished for more of her work to show up. My wish has finally been granted! This book is a collection of ten(10) basic motifs that she has created variations of to become medallions, doilies, and curved or cornered edgings. The designs are striking and because they are coordinated with the base medallion, can be used for a wide variety of coordinated projects. While I am far more in love with her animal appliques, I was impressed and pleased with the offerings here. While the text is mainly in German, there is an abbreviation chart translated into English, and she provides diagrams of all the projects - which know no language barriers. If you're looking for a coordinated effect for your table or bedroom, this is a fantastic find! She sticks to traditional styles.
