SUMMARY- The photograph glued to the cover is the only picture you get of the patterns made up. You can get a general impression of the Set from it, but it will not help you at all if the instructions stump you. She uses modern notation for the pattern instructions, but leaves them in a paragraph that can be hard to follow. Fortunately, she also gives you good diagrams. Here are the patterns: You get a buttonhole motif and a large triangle motif for accent that can be used on collars and cuffs. I think they are attractive and they look easy to make up.
I had to order this one and three other of her books directly from her - they've never been distributed otherwise. The good news is, she's got plans to update her books and work out new patterns now that she has retired and gotten the kids out of the house. I look forward to seeing what else she creates.
