SUMMARY- The photograph glued to the cover is the only picture you get of the patterns made up. You can get a general impression of the Wall Hanging from it, but it will not help you much if the instructions stump you. The wall hangings are pieced block quilting and she lays out the instructions pretty well - at least I could follow them, and I'm not an expert quilter like my mother. She does not provide the snowflake motif seen in the small square hanging. I think they are attractive and they look easy to make up.
I had to order this one and three other of her books directly from her - they've never been distributed otherwise. The good news is, she's got plans to update her books and work out new patterns now that she has retired and gotten the kids out of the house. I look forward to seeing what else she creates.
