SUMMARY- Usually I'm not a big fan of "free form" anything, but this book really won me over. If you're looking for straight up traditional tatting, this definitely isn't it. It mixes disciplines(it includes crochet work). The book is laid out in lesson plans, to carry the reader through the various introduced techniques. Her use of color is crucial to the pieces she creates - and they are fabulous. All of it looks very organic, not stylized. If you are looking for something really different to try with your tatting, this is a great find.
