SUMMARY- Ms. Stevens breaks her instructions down very well and they follow the standard symbol notation so they are easy to read. She also includes diagrams - I don't think you can get better than that! She incorporates beads into her designs and they come out looking pretty swanky. She uses some advanced techniques(cluny leaves and split rings are in the first designs presented) so this is not a book for beginners, but something to aspire to. I had expected a doily book and got primarily a jewelry book. Not a bad thing, but book maybe mistitled? Nevertheless, I love Ms. Stevens' books, and was happy to add this one to my collection.
