SUMMARY- I was able to get in touch with the author and order her first book! I was excited to find someone who had done a beginner's book in Dutch, and I really loved her second book of patterns(Thanks again, Annamaria!). There are tons of pictures to go with the tutorials and she covers a lot of ground in 100 pages - the Table of Contents really doesn't do it justice. Along with the ToC, she has an index, so you can look up specific techniques easily to refresh your memory. The patterns she provides for practice start with some of the simplest edgings(including Hens & Chicks!) and gradually get more complex with more advanced techniques. The book is all in Dutch, and she provides good sample pictures, diagrams and symbolic notation. I'm so glad I found Carin's books. I don't have very many in Dutch. This is one of the best.
