SUMMARY- You get color photos of the projects and color illustrations throughout. Instructions for projects are in written notation, but they are broken down fairly well. The print is small. The tatting article goes over beading, shows how varying the size of your rings in even simple two thread edgings can create an interesting flow to the pattern. It also shows something that I don't see often - how to make fringe picots with a picot gauge and beads. It was worth the price of admission for me just to see that. You get a lovely sample of a rosette as well - a lovely motif that isn't as easy to make as it looks. It also goes into the difference between a slip join and a lock join - very useful for any beginner to understand. I was over-all impressed with this article and enjoyed other articles given as well. I'm glad Carolyn brought this one to my attention.
