SUMMARY- The only photo you get of dolls and what they're wearing is the cover photo, and that is on rough, not gloss paper, so seeing any detail is impossible. You get basic instructions for making the tassel, then various small motifs to be used as hats and bibs. She gives the patterns in symbol notation and breaks them down very well(1 element per line) so they are easy to read. This is a great example of a designer who's enthusiasm for the art carries the book more than the patterns do. It's a great idea that probably should have been developed a bit more before going to print. Nevertheless, I was happy I bought it for the ideas it sparked.
