SUMMARY- Mary Konior(1930 - 2010) I'd been looking for a hardcover copy of this book for a while, and finally broke down and bought the $25 trade(I could not find a hardcover for less than $70!). I really love this book - it is stuffed full of really attractive patterns. The Table of Contents does not list them all(just the categories), but I consider this one of the "must have" on my tatting shelf for GO TO patterns. The patterns have fun titles like "Onion Skins" and "Mischief". She also has developed an analog of filet crochet, which I have always been fascinated by - it makes me itch to test to see if filet crochet patterns can be converted! The instructions are visually diagrammed rather than written out, and there is a nice Dictionary of terms included in this book with translations into French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and Swedish. I will continue to search for an affordable copy of this book in hardcover - I really like it that much!
