SUMMARY- She gives a nice write-up of the history of tatting, goes into the materials and tools used, and recommends keeping a sample book of the patterns you like to use for reference. Her basic lesson is photo illustrated, and she teaches one of the faster methods of tatting. You get diagrams with the patterns, which weren't a given back in the 1980's, so even if you don't read German, you should be able to use the patterns. You get a selection of traditional edgings, a handful of small medallions, a mignonette collar, and a medallion that tiles to make fabric, some handkerchief edgings(with corners), edgings to go around linen doilies, a really cool four-leaf clover doily, and a traditional round doily that is made all in one pass.
