SUMMARY- This is a sewing pattern from a company founded by three women in the 1970's that specialized in ethnic and antique clothing patterns. I've used their patterns for many decades. This particular pattern is currently out of print(I checked their website). I've included this particular pattern in the bibliography because it happened to come with a lesson in making a tatted ring, the simple join, and the instructions for an old and very traditional edging that consists of a row of alternating large and small rings with no chaining between(just bare thread). The tatting instructions were written by
Penelope Kraber and are part of the "Authentic Detailing for Victoria's Country Kitchen."

FOLKWEAR has a website:

I decided to include a list of their patterns that are currently in print, in lieu of a ToC which didn't exist for this pattern. I'll research and fill in the Out-of-Print patterns when I have time. As someone who has used many of their patterns in the past, I am happy to recommend them.
