SUMMARY- Ms. Biswas uses traditional written notation here with no diagrams, but her pictures are quite clear and it is possible to count stitches so you can use the pictures as diagrams if necessary. The edging patterns she gives here are fairly simple and easy to follow for the beginner - exactly who she created the book for. Making a sampler of practice pieces is a nice touch.
