SUMMARY- This is one of the coolest of the antique books I've run across. There's a a lot of interesting mixes of bare thread and chains - long lengths of bare thread and chains - that give these patterns a unique look. It has instantly become one of my favorite German books, and there is some stiff competition, as Tina Frauberger and Emmy Liebert are worthy contenders. There are only 16 pages, but the look is unique and the patterns worthwhile of study. The photography is great black-and-white, and many of the pictures you can actually count the stitches used. I love that in any tatting book. I only have the pdf at the moment, but this is one I will be buying as soon as I'm able.

There's a free pdf version on Georgia Seitz' site: http://www.georgiaseitz.com/public/publicindex.html
