SUMMARY- Instructions are pretty well broken down and large enough print they are easy to read, but the sample photos are small black-and-white that don't give you good detail. It would have really helped if they'd given a picture of one of the flat motifs(the 3D effect comes from sewing three snowflakes together then fanning them to create the 3D effect) with the instructions for each so that you could see how they are supposed to look when finished before assembling. I've noticed that many books that offer 3D snowflakes don't do this, and it seems like a no-brainer to me. You get ten(10) snowflakes by Elizabeth Ann White, and two(2) by Darla Hassell. There are some lovely projects in this book. There are no diagrams. Remember that this is a Cro-Tat book - which is crochet made to look like tatting. I think they did a great job with this one - my ornament snobbery wouldn't kick any of these off my tree.
